Tribute to the 30,000 men and women who worked in the South Portland Shipyards during WWII building Liberty Ships. Archival footage and stills combined with period music and actual blueprints of the shipyards followed by a brief tour of the area today showing decaying buildings, with an active commercial boat launching and repair business. The scene at the end with Ed walking away from the camera was his idea. He passed away in 1998.
